I think this goes here.

Okay, I'm new to guitar customizing, and I'm just wondering how one would hook up a whammy (tremelo) bar to a Telecaster. What would I need, things like that. Thanks.

u would either have to route out a spot for a strat trem or floyd rose, or u can just drill a bigsby on it.

depends on what kind of trem you want on it. a strat or floyd would be quite the pain and a horrible idea if its your first custom job. A bigsby or a stets bar wouldnt be too bad... In my oppinion ever tele should come with a string bender system in it ^_^ but if you want a trem go for it

I would suggest a Bigsby or a Bender system. Teles otherwise should never have trad trems.

but that's just me.

Don't expect too much range from a bigsby though. If you want to dive bomb then think again.

An option with more range is the stetsbar. Requires no modification, yet has a good range. It is rather pricey though.
