it's gonna cost way more than that now. 2 years ago, when i got my edwards LP, you could have got one for £500-£550 or so, including postage and VAT and customs. Problem is the pound completely collapsed against the yen (as did most western currencies), so they're now about twice as dear.

Personally I'd just get a japanese-made Tokai, it'll likely be cheaper, plus with any luck you can try it out first.

i think that's a new model this year, with any luck they'll start turning up here soon. Though of course even tokais are more expensive than they used to be, but it's not just as bad as with the edwardses...
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
