That implies B♭ lydian...

For it to be C lydian, it needs to have a B♮ and an F♯.

Hey guys
do you have any good progressions to use under a lydian jam? my guitar teacher started me with
C - D/C
but i dunno where to go from there
any ideas?

You will be on to a winner if you use a #11 chord.
Try playing-
Cmaj7#11 - Cmaj7#11 - Cmaj7#11 - C

That may work...?
