to tune your B string to D
would you have to tune UP or DOWN? :P
confused about this. cause up is like blah. five frets up yeah?
im scared just in case the breaks.

Are you playing Goo Goo Dolls - Iris by any chance?
Yes, you tune that string up. The High E and the G strings both go down to D though i think.

The A string goes down to D and the E goes down to B.

It sounds great for that song, but it is a pain to do each time

3 frets. depends on the song and how the artist did it. I don't even know which B string this is, it could be on a baritone guitar for all we know.

it completely depends on the strings brand and gauge. what strings you using?

or you could just tune it the same way, just a couple half-steps down and then use a capo to bring it up to the right tuning
