Anyone read that book? I'm curious about peoples' thoughts on the subject whether you read it or not.

I personally got into it because of Neil Strauss and the Pickup Artist. I watched the Pickup Artist and thought it was complete BS. I made fun of it. But I really enjoyed Strauss' books, The Dirt, How to Make Love like a Pornstar, and Long Hard Road out of Hell. He has this ability to make people that I normally wouldn't find interesting seem phenomenal so I just had to hear one of his own personal stories. I read the first page and I was hooked. I just had to buy it. BTW, the first page had nothing to do with women. This book is great and I would recommend it to everyone (even girls). It's his autobiography about his involvement the community. It's not a step-by-step guide on how to pick-up women. There are many styles of pickup, all are effective. But I find that the Mystery and Style (Strauss) are the best because they're about putting your best foot forward. Those aren't about sleeping with hundreds of women, they're about bettering your lifestyle. Watch the first episode of a season of the Pickup Artist followed by the last and you'll see that they make huge transformations as people, not pickup artists. The stuff they teach you will help in other aspects of your life. But I have to admit that there are some really shady techniques and people out there.

The grandmother is having a baby with her grandson, so the grandson will be his own fathers father, the baby will be his own grandfather, and grandson, and the grandmother will be the mother, and great grandmother?

Lets play the 5 questions game...
The lake was silent for some time. Finally it said:
"I weep for Narcissus, but I never noticed that Narcissus was beautiful. I weep because, each time he knelt beside my banks, I could see, in the depths of his eyes, my own beauty reflected."

The stuff works, but theres no point discussing it here. Too many lonely nerds who think it's shit, because they can't accept that they're terrible with women.

Also not everyone who decides to look for advice is a pathetic saddo. Just look at the relationship thread and how many people could do with it.

Haha, I guess that's true. I was that guy before I read the book. I just find it funny how people think that stuff is dumb when they ask for advice from friends who don't know anything better.

Yep, its very true. It's like asking your friend, who knows as little as you do about plumbing, to fix your plumbing, when it's obvious you should call a plumber. But if you direct people towards proffesional advice on dealing with women, you get dismissed as either a prick or loser with no social skills.
