So after a long wait and a ridiculous price for a Seymour Duncan Twin Tube Mayhem, I sent it back to the store. It just wasn't for me. So I got $425 of store credit and I'm gonna use about half of it for a Hardwire TL-2. So i'm left with $200 which can cover a fair few types of pedal.

I currently have a Crybaby (modded) into various amps (I haven't got myslef a new one yet), but I like marshall-y high gain kind of amps.
I play a wide range of rock and metal and maybe jazz.

How about getting a valve amp? It would change your sound a lot more than a pedal.

None, but I plan on buying a ENGL Fireball E 635 and making my own 2x12.
Not Marshall at all, but sounds like a monster.

when???? if you plan it really close, save for the amp, or maybe a EQ, is the best way to get versatility

Sometime January/February next year when I might start gigging.
Until then, I'll be using my friends JTM clone.
