What style? If you want a les paul or SG i wouldnt recommend Epiphone, go for 'vintage' just as good quality but cheaper

ditch the squires right away if your willing to spend that much. For the price there is MUCH better guitars out there for you.
same with the Yamaha.
I have the g-400 Deluxe SG and it plays probably better than the gibson standard.. Its a brilliant guitar for the price : )

Have you looked at a make called Cort? They make very good, very affordable guitars, and are very underrated. Also I second Vintage over Epi

Cort are great and have some nice super strats around your price.
Vintage are very good, Especially the LP Lemon Drop
T.C Ellis are phenomenal. Hand assembled and finished, pro setup, amazing electrics and a hard case for a £299 LP
I wouldn't suggest anything else under 300 euro
btw the Gibson Signature SG is 80 euro on ebay and a bit over-priced. I'm thinking of buying one to steam-punk mod it.
I pick up my guitar and play
Just like Yesterday

T C Ellis Series 2 LP w/Skatterbrane Quiescence pups
Cort EVL-K6
Yamaha RGX211 modded
H&S Electric 12-string
Shaftsbury Ricki 4001
'84 Fender Yale
Roland Cube 15x
