My TV with basic cable only gets like 17 channels or so, and it used to get up to 75. How do I get more channels? I hit the channel search and that didn't do anything.

Only 17? Pity many of us Brits with only 4

But TV is shite anyway.

i think you have to get a digital cable converter box nowadays. Just get Comcast or Direct Tv or something. It cost a shitload but its the only way to get lots of damn channels

Don't all three of them have different locations?

I've got Comcast. The problem is my TV, not the cable. All the other TVs that just plug straight into the cable don't have the problem.

You have to do the "add channels" thing in your TV's menu probably.

Oh sorry I'm kinda out of it. Are you sure your issue isn't comcast? I think they recently lost a deal which took away comedy central, and nickelodeon, and some other channels

Ask your parents to not forget to pay the cable bill

Buy an amp that already comes with two channels?

Already got three amps with more than 1 channel.

Well, they still work on all the other TVs.

See, the problem is you have Comcast. If you use a modem, like the motorolla modem for cable, hit the reset button on the back and re-scan for channels. If not, call them and tell them to fix their mistake.

Yep

I upgraded from a Spider III with my Vox, then I upgraded from my Vox with my Fender. I think I'm done getting guitar amps...for now...

Haha

Just noticed you have an X3 live.

How is it?
Undecided on whether I should get that or a couple of boss pedals.

If you think Im thread jacking, can you answer on my profile?
Im leaning towards the X3 because of
1) Ability to have patches
2) USB in
3) Ease of use in live situations as compared to normal pedals

Edit:

Sigh

I need to read more. Didnt see it was on your GAS attack list.

You get more channels by taking it to the store and asking "How do I get all my channels?"
Mabye your TV's just stupid and doesn't support all those other channels or something.
