Alright, I got myself a new guitar today, and I have a set of blackout lying here from an old guitar...few questions for the tech guru's here

I do not have the wire that came with the pups, except the quick-connect, and battery connector.

I went and bought 22 gauge, solid - AWM-type copper wire, will this suffice?

I have the 25k pots, but a question about the caps....the only thing I could find for the tone caps was 0.047uf...how much different is this than 0.47uf caps?

Wiring Diagram calls for .47uf, but I only have 2 in the current pup, and am a little worried that the heat from de-soldering may damage them...any advice?

Thanks for your time

1 - Do a better job of naming your threads.
"quick question" doesn't allow anyone know whether it's something they can help with.

2 - This should be a post in the Guitar Wiring thread.
Go to the GB&C Central Hub, stickied at the top of this forum.
Scroll down to the second post and click the link for the Guitar Wiring thread. Post there.

My apologies, I thought the "Gear Building & Customizing" section would be appropriate enough
