nightrage-howls of the wolves. its an acoustic interlude w/ solo but definitely a very metal band. thomas lindberg (sp?) is the vocalist too. i only have 5 songs by them, the tremor, phantasma, gloomy daydreams, and hero. most of those are in C but not sure if its drop c or c standard. worth looking into though.

Mayhem's "Deathcrush" album is in between Db standard and C standard. They were probably going for C standard though, but were too busy with teh br00talz to use a tuner. Check out the song Chainsaw Guts****. It's pretty easy and heavy as hell.

If we were to release "official" tabs from THE ABSENCE, what would be the most popular media? Guitar tab pro? Online downloads? A book? A Dvd?

I think we're going to tab out the whole new record this time. Also, what OLD songs would you want included with it?

Any input would be great!!

old as in 'pre-enemy unbound' ?

* The entire 'From Your Grave' album (This album quickly became my favourtite melodeath record but maybe it'd be better to tab this one out for a seperate book )

* World Divides
* Echos
* Into The Pit
* Outro

And err I dunno, if you guys tab it out on guitar pro, you can always just export it as PDF and bind it into a book Is this gonna be available with a special edition release (like a 2nd cd included with some videos from the recording and a folder with guitar pro files) or is it a seperate purchase?

Also, on which would be the most populair media, I think that whichever format you take, there'll always be people who don't like it Maybe you could ask MetalBlade if they have any artists who have experience with this, or if they could put a poll up on the mainpage (would be extra attention for you guys too )

anything by the black dahlia murder is in c standard, their songs are really good, check em out for sure if u dont know them

While it may not be your thing The Sword plays almost exclusively in C standard, try out mother maiden and crone for starters and while its not a "metal" song per se Iron swan it translate really well when played with massive amounts of distortion.

Also Dethklok songs are mostly in C standard, the rhythm part of Deththeme will almost invariably get you noticed and its surprisingly easy, Go into the water and Awaken Mustakrakish are also on the easier side.

(on a side note last time i checked UG doesnt have tabs for dethklok songs anymore but i have a few and im sure if you ask around others have the rest)
