I know the mg series amps Are utter crap, but how are the the cabs?

I found one used for 150$ and I just wanna know if it's worth the cash.

I play a lot of generes, even dipping into blues ad metal, I know I'm odd, but ilike expanding my horizons.

Oh it's the 4x12 cab configuration

If you are intrested in the Marshall cab line, I would recommend the 1960A, the sound is great, I use it in conjunction with my DSL100. But there are many more cabs out there that you should definitely take a look at, how much money have you got to spend on a cab?

judging by these 'ranks', I guess you were looking at Gibson guitars.

In that case, it goes (worst --> best)
special --> studio --> standard --> custom

When Gibson calls something "special", it's special in the way a retarded kid is.

Well I was planing on buying a tune head*points to sig*

And I've been trolling craigslist like a hawk trying to find what sparks my interest.

What's a versitile amp for like 600ish? I know it's a low budget sorry guys

If you want a really cheap cab that could do the job is the old valvestate cab with celestion g12l-35. the model is 8412 and they sell for cheap on craiglist when they pop up
.. i paid mine 130 $ .

its a 3/4 size cab ( smaller and lighter than a 1960b ) .. the celestion are small magnet .. they sound very good for band practice and home use ...

theyre real celestion and not some specially design speakers .

But for big gig .. i would go for a bigger cab like a 1960a . if you have the money get the real stuff like a 1960a .

the 8412 can be carry by one perosn and fit right in the backseat of my toyota tercel so its perfect if you carry it around a lot .

if you can find one for cheap .. grab it .
