I wrote a song on GP4 or 5 or something and I wanna put it into an MP3, but I don't know how besides playing it out myself (which I'm too lazy to do). Tips?

if you want to make an mp3 out of it,download a program called audacity, record your song on audacity, then, download what's called the LAME encoder for audacity, then export your song as an mp3.

How do I record using audacity? I don't have a mic that's suitable for recording. I do have a male to male 1/8th inch, would it work if I plugged that in the mic and headphones slot?
