I saw Dead Snow yesterday, a zombie movie about dead Nazi's in Norwegian snow.

Good stuff!

Don't waste your money on paranormal activity. 2 minutes of action in the movie.

IMO- The descent was a GREAT horror movie. Not really that well known, but an absolutely great movie. Watch it or i will poke you with a spoon.

Ring 1 & 2 were great. Also watched Saw (the first one) recently and it was amazing too. I honestly couldn't sleep after watching Saw, couldn't stop myself from thinking about blood and ripping people's guts out and shit

I like the Dead series by George A Romero, just don't watch his latest two pieces of shit, Day of the dead 2008 or Diary of the dead. You gotta watch the original. In fact all halloween night on AMC you can watch the original night of the living dead. I think it starts at 5 central time, maybe six eastern pacific idk.

Evil Dead 1 + 2 (I didn't really like 3 that much)
John Carpenter's 'The Thing'
Alien 1-3 (Resurrection is just terrible)
Blair Witch Project (You either love it or hate it)
28 Days Later
SAW 1
Brain Dead (Though I can't take it as a serious horror movie)

Dude...

As a horror movie 2 > 3

As a fun filled family romp with a kickass protagonist with a boomstick and a chain saw mixed with a healthy mix of zombies 3 > 2

I did like 3, I just don't see it as in the same league as the first 2

You have to get Evil Dead 2 though, its so much better than 1. I always crack up when hes sawing his hand off and laughing.

Most horror movies are wank. Although Rosemary's Baby is fairly interesting, although perhaps a little tame by todays standards.
