Google has failed me in my attempt to figure out how to use both my Logitech USB microphone as an input while maintaining my standard PCI output.

The question I ask UG's Puppy users is: "How can I record with my USB mic, and playback with my standard speakers?"

All information will be greatly appreciated.

it's just a jack server issue, look better at the connection between inputs and outputs.
http://gotbrain.de/renoise/tutorial/jackconnections1.png this , if you dont know what i'm talking about, jack is like asio for windows.
Just a hint, you are using puppy , lightweight? yes, full featured for recording?absolutely not.

Linux isnt utter fail for audio, it's just suited better for other things.

edit: btw, most of my favorite vst runs flawless on both os.
