I think of buying one of these pedals and I actually would like to hear someones opinions.
I tried the DistX and I'm very fascinated, even in front of my epiphone vj.
Now the question comes up how much gain does the ht dual have? Does it get me into nice metal areas, thrash etc? I do need lots of punch...
Two channels would be awesome so please give me your opinion...
For lower gain stuff ive got a behringer vt-999 tube pedal

Thanks in advance

Bump! This is also what I was searching for an answer to.
Agile 2800 Baritone (Crunchy Rail bridge/Fat Pat Neck) or Douglas WRL 590 -> MXR Super Comp -> -> MXR M108 EQ -> Peavey 5150 212 (Eminence Redcoat Gov) or Bugera V5

If you've already got a low-gain sound and want higher gain then you should probably go with the DistX. The Dual may not cut it for the metal sound you're aiming for

The DistX is the one to go for if you want a metal tone. The Dual is great if you're just looking for some hard rock tones.

Because I bend in such an unorthodox fashion; the notes kinda slide up and slide down...
