Hello, for christmas I'm getting an epiphone G-400. I'm just wondering what amp I should buy which is cheap but sounds good. Could anyone possibly help me out?

Many thanks,

James.

What's your price range, and what type of music do you like to play?
Starting Weight: 310, 38.8% Body fat (11/2008, pic in profile)
Latest Weigh in 230.2 14.3% Body fat (4/13/2013)

Pro life, pro gun, health nut, Christian and conservative. I make no apologies if what I say pisses anybody off.

Price range:
I have no idea how much i'm going to spend yet, whatever's cheap for an amp I suppose but not too cheap. Basically an OK amp which is worth the price.

Type of Music:
AC/DC, Airbourne, Led zeppelin, etc.

Vox AC4TV, $250, sweet amp for that, actually for most things.

+1 to the Vox AC4, but a Vyper would be ok too.

Basically
AC4- good tone, less versitile
Vyper- not as good tone, more versitile

I suggest going out and playing them both.

-Gibson LP VM
-Silvertone Kentucky Blue
-MXR CC Delay
-Ibanez TS-9
-Egnater Rebel 20
-Avatar 1x12

My rig is simple
Haha. UG's Chuck just said chuck. haha
You're not truly playing guitar unless you know theory.

This.

Try the Fender Super Champ and the Vibro Champ as well.
Wait.
