With high enough gain to hear the iron particles sifting around in a distant pigeon's blood vessels?

Just interested in the most pointlessly high gain amps yall know of.

[quote="'[BurnTheDusk"]']Boss pedals may be built like tanks but I would rather buy a cardboard box that is on my side than pay for a tank that is working against me.

They really that high? I've only tried amp models of em, but I'd be surprised if modern amps couldn't get more saturation. I figured some of the engls would be the winner in this category, but everybody loves the triple recto.

Amp models of the 5150/6505 will not be a good representation of how high-gain they can get. My vote goes to them as well.

-Gibson LP VM
-Silvertone Kentucky Blue
-MXR CC Delay
-Ibanez TS-9
-Egnater Rebel 20
-Avatar 1x12

My rig is simple
