Hey pit, I'm going to install Windows 7 in some minutes, so I'm also going to format my drive. I backed up the following things:
Pictures
College stuff
Music
Movies
Chat logs
Games etc...
Firefox settings, bookmarks, etc...

Is there any other valuable thing that I could be forgetting about that you know of? Thanks pit !

I think we've given the only thing you need to worry about that you haven't listed. Reported for close.

Ok, not really. But I think you have everything you need...

Here's a protip - DONT install Windows 7. It's as unstable as Vista when it first came out, and Vista STILL hasn't been fixed.

That's the second time I've seen this picture in less than 15 seconds...

I'm holding out for the third now.

I was eating so I only had my mouse hand free, so I just right click + pasted and it happened to be that pic.

On topic though TS, my dad just recently installed Win 7 and it caused him a lot of hell, be patient and wait till' they fix it before you run and install it.

Better yet, wait until they fix Vista

Or Windows 2003

Or Windows ME

Or Windows 2000

...See where I'm going with this?

XP is the closest MS got to a great operating system.

you should partition your harddrive and install windows x7 on a small partition instead THEN delete the other.

This, this way you can delete all your old files using Windows 7! How cool is that?!
