Picked this baby up for $1,000 used a Guitar Center in Seattle, I went there for the Capitol Hill Block Party and tried it out while browsing and knew I had to have it, so I FINALLY got a job and put a down payment on it, but unfortunately I couldn't make the rest so my parents paid it off and I don't get it until I pay them off for the rest, but I can live with that. Picked it up Halloween afternoon when I was in town for another concert.

Price: $1,000

Year: Believed to be last year, haven't taken off the neck to check

Condition: Excellent

Ready to put some semi-flatwounds on it as well

My $1,000 bass leaning up against my $40 amp...

I wouldn't call what we have here on the Bass Forum a mentality. It's more like the sharing part of an AA meeting.

Sounds like it's worth more than $1,000, they go for like $1,500 new though, since it's a bass that is semi-hollow it sounds VERY cool and stands out, sounds MILES better than my 5-string I've had for 3 or 4 years.

Haha what can I say? I'm a G&L fanboy. Played every G&L in the Seattle Guitar Center about once a month for the last two years or so. It is a most excellent bass, shine that baby up!
