I was thinking of getting a multifx rack thingy so i can get decent effects on a budget. For the vintage stuff ill get the pedals but for most of the stuff i think this works.

Forget the AXE-FX because i would have to sell my kidney for it, and I prefer to spend more on an amp.

TC Electronics G-Major or G-Force
Line6 Pod X3 Pro

I'll also want a ISP Decimator. Any of these sound good? or i'm better of with 30 pedals on my bag?

I have the G-major and I love it. Doesn't have a wah though. The G-major 2 does. I use the Behringer FCB1010 to control it. Great setup. I used to have a huge pedalboard but I like rack setup better.

are the effects on the G-major good in general or kind of digital?
Doesnt the Pod have more control?

Also the voice processing sounds nice

I haven't spent enough time with the POD to know. I got the G-major used so it cost me way less than the POD would have.

in europe, at least where im looking at, the G-major is at least 100 euros cheaper comparing to the pod x3 pro
