Another victim unheard
And the liability no one cares to unearth
Where to travel when the roads are rough
Covered in band aides I never seem to get enough

Something so far away yet familiar
I can look in those piercing rays of light and think twice
Of the eyes that accuse of me of how the way things were

Left unfinished with but a code to trace
A walk through the woods to reestablish my saving grace
The white dewey mist on a pear leaf that suggests a lie
Or a spiders web woven dozens in a single step in time

A drizzled sad face washed away in the rain
Another suggestion that leads me to my grave
Another nail biter, another elixir
Here I am once again, not going no where
