yep... all my gear was stolen out of a uhaul storage room. insurance want pay nada. oh well.. now in the market for new stuff. i need a combo or tube head under 100 watt. i play mostly death and new age metal. i had a 5150 ll mod. that amp was brutal as hell, but way too loud for practicing at home. totally sucked at low bedroom volume. i'd like to find an amp with a nasty crunch like the 5150 for under a 1000 bucks. help please

I feel your pain. I had my gear stolen last year when my house was broken into.

It was the only task I would undertake...

Well you could look at a modeling amplifier, like a Vetta and still have money left over (around 500$)

The Vetta could do gigs and i hear it sounds just as awesome as it does at lower volumes.

Plus you get better cleans then the 5150 (i just don't like those cleans at all)

never heard of that amp
