whatsup bass forum. I play in a pop-punk/kinda hardcore(?) band. I've been starting to look at new basses and i came across the G&L tribute L-2000. the only G&L i've ever gotten to play was an ASAT, and all i really remember was that it was heavy as hell. so does anyone know how the tribute L-2000 sounds, and if it'd be good for pop-punk?

The electronics are pretty much (if not exactly) the same as the ASAT's, it just has a basswood body in a different shape. It sounds similar IMO, maybe a little less round and thick, and its a hell of a lot lighter. It's a great bass, extremely versatile, should fulfill all you pop-punk/kinda hardcore needs
