I feel dumb for asking this but I need to know first

My Low E hits the fret board when I strum it, and it seems like any other fresta on it don't do it.

Is the bridge to low or is it a bad string?

Well a bad string...meh depends on what brand or how old they are.
And when you hit the string and pressing in the 12th fret and you still hear that sound tha it's time for a set up.
straighting your neck and higher your bridge.
