I shimmed the nut on an old 60s guitar I fixed up..
I'm not quite sure what else you're asking, though


..and the strat's pretty hot. I'm guessing from no headstock logo, that it's a custom build?

Thanks dude. Most of the parts are from Warmoth and I'm in the process of fine tune adjustments on the action and intonation.

I have not heard of anyone adding shims under a nut so was not sure if this was considered a bad idea or not, even though it appears necessary in this case.
