With a sparse arrangement to add some variation and better recording these two songs would be really good. I'd suggest a mellow string arrangement, just a simple quartet, for the chorus of cageddd and perhaps a little piano or organ for new trish un. Just a simple overdubbed guitar fill for the second verse would also add that little extra to each song.

The guitar sounds a hair out of tune for both songs.

OK man, let me say, whatever anyone else says, I wouldnt change a thing, on both songs. The simple rawness and sparseness of the guitar is perfect for this, your voice fits this style so well. the whole thing has a real urgency and clarity to it, keep up this good work!

Id give you five stars for the Lincoln picture lol. The vocals are really good. and i agree with cobaindrix. i think just because its possible to do things perfects now doesnt mean we should. i think its better to hear raw talent than sonically perfect songs. IMO. I got an acoustic song up too and wondered if youd take a listen?
