I dunno if this is the right place, but does anyone know of a program or pro tools thing that lets you use your computer keyboard as a midi keyboard/device?

I really don't have any money to buy one so i was hoping someone could give me a nudge in the right direction

You can input notes on the piano roll with your mouse.

the one plug-in i wanna use wont let me slide up and down the keys by holding the main button down.

In Ableton Live I can use my macbook keys to control midi, but that's a whole DAW so I don't think it'll solve your problem. It's possible, though!

P-Bass - Mustang Bass
