Hey guys, I recently put some new strings on my Schecter Classic and every string is fine, except for the D string. The intonation on it is WAY out, almost a semitone in some places. Anyway, I tried fixing it by moving the saddle on the bridge, but I got it all the way to the end and it still didn't help. This is the first time it's ever happened. Any ideas?

are you getting a sort of metallic sound when you fret, and can you not really tell what note it is?

Not really a metallic sound, but when I first noticed it I thought it sounded really odd. It was only until I put it into a tuner was when I noticed the higher frets were terribly out of tune.

Possibly a bad string. It is not common but it happens.
