Just been watching Rush In Rio and during La Villa Strangiato Alex Lifeson is goofing around.

Any other musicians pull off goofy stunts on stage live?

Exmortus has a really funny live show but it might be choreographed.

It didn't go over well, but i laughed like a buffoon.

The other guitarist in our big band, who is SUPPOSEDLY the adult. Oh gods, he makes me laugh. Never give him a song to play with a random birdsong break in the middle.
He likes Keats but she's into Yeats - it's a matter of Romance

Well when you wear a school uniform on stage then you can't exactly be serious.

I saw blink 182 once and one of them farted in the mic that was pretty funny

Anyone who takes their music and performances as "Serious Business" are either classical orchestras or dumbasses.

Was at this show:

There was also another one where they swapped instruments and then lip-synched to make it look like the real thing.

Dominic Howard 'sang' and played bass
Chris Wolstenholme played guitar and synths
Matt Bellamy was on drums.

I have never seen a thread like this.

But seriously, my friend's band who i enjoy very much, at their first show ( i couldn't believe it was their first show, the place was packed and they got the most cash out of all the bands playing. Pretty much everyone there went just to see them) they played a Jonas Brothers song, and then led it into one of their own songs. Does that count?

I believe that the tv show they were on was forcing them to lip sync, so they decided "screw it" and swapped instruments. Nirvana did that once where they weren't allowed to play their own instruments, but Kurt was able to sing and he just went up there and completely ****ed around, changing lyrics and whatnot.
