Heavy-as-**** doom metal from Chile.

Crushing yet flowing guitarwork and soaring vocals, and a pounding rhythym section.

GREAT doom! I've had the EP for a few months now and it completely destroys. Down the River of Corpses is such a delectable tune. Can't wait for that full length.

Is the new album out yet? It's bound to be amazing
I’m not the man I used to be, I... I can’t go back to Arkham.

I... I should return to Arkham.

One of the best doom bands to come around recently imho. The Cult of Disease was soooo good. Metal Archives has the album art/tracklisting up and release says November so it should be out any day now.. Cool cover art and I like how the 2 songs that have their time listed are both around the 10 minute mark.

I'm very, very fond of Chants Of The Nameless

Like, I think, I already expressed it in the Only Doom Metal thread — It's incredible how much power a song can hold. I get all emotional listening to those vocals, and when accompanied with the crushing riffs... Absolute top class metal.

Thu. 20/1 Helsinki, Lepakkomies - Finland
Fri. 21/1 Turku, Klubi - Finland
Sat. 22/1 Jyväskylä, Lutakko – Finland

Thu. 3/2 Cork, An Cruiscin Lan - Ireland

Hahha yeah, only Finland and Ireland so far. I will definitely be attending the one in Helsinki if the venue doesn't have an age limit of over 18, then I'll have to travel to Turku.

You guys in Ireland seem to get some damn good shows for being on such a tiny little island. Mind you could just be cause i'm in Canada and we have a huge land mass with few people that we get passed over allot.

Just back from the gig. What can I say? Pure heavy metal. Absolutely flawless, dedicated, emotive performance. For metal maniacs, by metal maniacs. One of the best bands in doom metal these days, and absolutely spot on lads as well. Vocals were incredible live, not to mention the tone from Felipe's Kramer... great fucking gig.

These don't sound like very good ambitions when driving...Judas Priest makes people want to go 200 mph, and Realm of Chaos is now an album for ramming shit. You are dangerous, dangerous people.

I was supposed to be seeing them with Solstice in Bradford tomorrow, but as it stands I think I've left it too late. Plus I've no one to share the cost of a room, and my bank balance is the lowest its ever been, so I think I'll end up missing it, as much as it pains me.
#28
Ahhhhhh shit man that's a dose! That's for the full moon festival, right? Ive decided to start an emergency fund for gigs from now on... il gladly live in debt if it means hitting a few more class gigs during the year.

I think that a gig fund might be a good idea tbh. I'm still not 100% ruling it out, but realistically I doubt it.

Yeah, it's Jay Jay Winter memorial gig, which I assume will be Asomvel's last gig, given they split up before battles in the north, the other month.
#30
ah I believe I heard them already... forgot what song though but that first live video's awesome, will definitely check out

'Night Sky' cover for an upcoming 10''....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9bxEmrtuQI&feature=youtu.be

doesn't one of their members also have a side project called Capilla Ardiente or something? I recall checking that out as well and it was amazing [liked it even more than Procession I believe but sadly 'it' only had 2 songs]

it's nice to get reacquainted to this band... I'm not one for doom usually but something about these guys I really like
#34
Been addicted to Procession the past couple days.. I can't stop listening to The Funeral of Age atm I've repeated the song a bunch of times just now lol.. no doom band before has ever captivated me like this for some reason.

New album "To Reap Heavens Apart" out early May.

Guaranteed it sold out (500 copies and Procession are a relatively well known band), so check discogs or eBay from time to time.

Yeah, but if you want Destroyers of the Faith. Plenty of those floating about if you don't already have it.

But really, the EP (Death and Judgment) has two tracks and they're on Procession's myspace and they're on youtube. You'll end up paying like 50 dollars for a six dollar item, and it's just not worth the money.
