Don't get me wrong, i LOVE my squier. and i still would choose it over any of my guitars under 400 bucks, but i hate when implaying and randomly i hear. You play with a effin squier?

so iwant to get decal off so i can just say if they ask, its a quier with a new neck. Just so i dont get ripped on by people who feel like they should hate on squiers even though they kick ash (see what i did there?)

Higher grit sandpaper (around 400 or so) should do it. I would personally tell them to **** off.

To hell with them, you love your guitar and thats fine. You shouldn't worry about what people think of your guitar, only you is what matter.

But yeah, some good sand paper like salsawords said, will do the trick. Or maybe if you don't mind, you could take a cigarette and just burn the word Squier to give a relic type look.

Thats a really lame reason to get rid of a logo.

and btw if you sand it off you will also remove alot of the clear coat on the head stock, which will need to be re applied.

For my build I just scratched the logo off with my finger nail....

If you sand it off, you'll probly need to redo the finish....

Yeah, that's a problem. Scratch it off. Sand it off. Paint over top of it.
Whatever it takes, man.
Only badass players who have chops that can melt your face off should play Squiers.
That way they can silence the morons who don't know a Squier can be turned into a great guitar with very little effort.
