I just bought a turntable yesterday, and I realized I can use my LG sound system as a receiver/amp and the speakers from that sound system as well. All it has is an auxiliary input, though, so I need a preamp. What's a decent preamp that I can get dirt cheap? Or should I just look for a different amp altogether at the Salvation Army?
So, go for the Salvation Army receiver solution? I don't have much money to spend. My turntable is nothing special (Technics SL-B210) so it's not like I'd be hearing the voice of God with an amazing setup anyway. I just want to get the best sound possible out of a cheap turntable.
