A few months ago I got a new guitar and ever since then I've been breaking a lot of strings. They all break on the bridge, and I do use a fair amount of palm muting but i always have and my other guitars don't have the same problem.

Anyone have any suggestions? They keep breaking at extremely inopportune times, so any help is greatly appreciated.

What kind of bridge would be helpful. But here goes a few tips. If it is a tuneOmatic type bridge look for burrs on the bridge saddles in the grooves. Also make sure the strings are clearing the bridge body and not hitting it on the back side. With out more info from you it is hard to give suggestions.
