Yes.

I would like you guys to reccomend a sub-$600 guitar.

My playing style is pretty varied, but I tend to play Iron Maiden-influenced improvisations a lot.

I don't really care about the body style, though if I had to choose, probably a superstrat.

I tend to prefer humbuckers over single-coil pickups.

I don't abuse my whammy bar, but I do use it to get a nice little effect in 50% of cases.
As for the neck, I think thin necks play better.

I use a 15-watt amp at home, with I guess the same sound as a Line 6 Spider III. Pretty bad, I know. But I happen to like it.

Edit: was way off on the exchange course of dollars. Rectified now.

You're location says your in the Netherlands. Are you buying from the Netherlands, or from the States? If you're buying from the Netherlands, what's your budget in euros?

Around 400 euros. I really suck at exchange courses, so the dollar count is probably way off.

Edit: I knew I was way off. My utter limit is 600 dollars.

Ah, no worries. Always better to state your currency though, because some guitars cost differently, like Washburn.

Which brings me on to my next point...
Washburn WI-64. No trem, but it's great other than that.
