I am not sure I have ever seen them deny it......
I've bought, sold, and traded more gear than I care to admit.

Yeah....neither have I. The only thing I can think of is they may have said they don't want to be labelled as Christian because Christian isn't a genre.

TS, it isn't a very hard sound to get. Just crank a British-voiced mid gain amp and you should be golden.

Okay, for the record, all of you saying a British voiced amp are just wrong.

Skillet is endorsed by Boogie and uses Dual Rectifiers. Rhythm uses a roadster for both heavy and clean tones, and the lead player uses a normal dual rec for rhythm/lead tones and an AC30 for cleans. The rhythm guitarist uses no pedals at all, whereas the lead player has a wah, some digital delay and a tubescreamer. That's about it though.

Also, I do believe 1 of them is using Diezel cabs now.

WTF is Skillet? And an amp will have much more effect on a tone than a crappy PRS copy.

I'm just saying, a PRS copy isn't going to magically give him the tone of a band that uses the amps you listed.

Pretty much all of skillet's earlier stuff is very clear about their faith and I havent heard any denial out of them ever. I do think that they wanted their band to move away from the Christian label because there's so little money in the Christian music scene unless you're Third Day or Michael W. Smith. A lot of smart christian bands have caught on to this. Jars of Clay, Skillet, Underoath, and Relient K just to name a few. Doesnt mean they're denying their faith.
