Well, I woke up today and this strange box sat outside my door....

All the way from the US of A.... how odd.

Oh yeah, the pedals I ordered weeks ago, finally arrived!

MXR 6 Band EQ pedal
Zvex Fuzz Factory
Morley Optical Volume
EHX Small Stone

The only problem is the Fuzz Factory stopped working after about 10 minutes....

How's the volume pedal? I've been trying to find a good one that doesn't suck tone.

Edit: Durr and HNPD!

You can't tune a LP copies down. Some kind of lawsuit Gibson won. Sorry.

I'm not made of money! The RE-20 isn't cheap... and I'm not sure what I would do with it.

Thanks. It's decent. Certainly not the best volume pedal around. I haven't noticed any tone suckage yet, but I haven't disconnected it to see.

Where did you order your stuff from?

Musicians Friend and then I had a friend ship it out to me.

How much does the shipping cost? I'm looking for a loop pedal but they can get pretty expensive in NZ

HNGD by the way

Shipping was about $50 US for everything, but I also had some books and some other stuff sent as well.

the FF should be a very easy fix, open it up and see what's gone wrong

HNPD!

I opened it up, and nothing seemed to be wrong. Connections were all properly soldered. It works in bypass, but shrieks, pops, and dies when I turn it on, or doesn't work at all. And I've tried a million different batteries.

It worked for about 10-15 minutes... what glorious 10-15 minutes they were.

Since you're in NZ, you have the same 240v power supply, right?

Did you just go out and buy one on the wall wart thingos for the small stone? Or did you have to buy a specific one?

I just bought a small stone from the US (it's still being shipped) and I don't really wanna use batteries.

I'm just using a "1 Spot" AC adapter (110-240v) and then a daisy chain to connect all of the pedals. It supports up to 1700 mA, good little thing a friend of mine told me about. Only $60 NZ.
