Well, it's yet another NGD for me. Although this time i just did a swap. I wasn't really bonding with my ESP LTD EC-1000 like i hoped I would. EMGs got to be not what I wanted, and the 24.75 scale i've decided to swear off forever. So, i swapped for this gorgeous Schecter ATX Blackjack V1 FR. Duncan Blackout active pickups, original floyd rose, ebony board. I love this thing. Plays like butter. Pics!

Thanks fellas. It plays great. Love ebony fretboards . And this was my first experience with Duncan Blackouts, and I must say i like 'em a hell of a lot more than EMGs for my taste.

I normally wouldnt be a huge fan of the color either but I'm a diehard Randy Rhoads fan and this color just makes me happy .

If you're talkin' about the one all the way to the right (fourth in the rack), that's my Carvin CT6C . The leftmost 2 are my 2 completed custom builds. The 3rd custom build (dragonburst 24 fret neck-thru LP) will be done this weekend. And the third in the rack is my warmoth chameleon strat.

you're not gonna want to take a dump in a gross, off-colored, vintage toilet. you want something that is white and pearly; something that shines. something that you can put your cheeks against and say, "f*** yeah"

I like both really, but this was a trade so I didn't really have a say in the color. Nonetheless I love the cream/off-white cuz it reminds me of the very reason i started playing...Randy Rhoads.

Thanks! And yep. I've hung out with the guys backstage, and they're responsible for my favorite funny band story...which I will share here:

After we were all hanging out, I was chilling outside and Brent came out, COMPLETELY hammered. He was holding a vine of grapes, and playing around and making his friends jump up to bite the grapes off the vine. I had a few CDs i wanted to finish gettin' signed, so I came up to Brent and asked if he would sign 'em for me. He goes: "Sure, but first..." and he makes me jump up and grab a grape. So basically, Brent Hinds from Mastodon fed me a grape whilst piss drunk.

Talk about random band hilarity!

I dislike the color and any V with rounded horns but other than that it's a pretty sweet guitar, grats and happy playing!
Speed is a by-product of shut the fuck up.

hngd, that is really classy looking. I think with gold hw, it would complete the whole vintage look that the finish hints at but it looks good how it is.

3 customs, as of two days ago . And this is why reading is a great idea. As you can read in my first post of this thread, I swapped an LTD EC-1000 that I had for this one. Didn't buy anything or spend any bucks.

The main reason I traded for this Schecter is i wanna try out a nice V and see if i like it. Then if I still dig it a few months from now, I shall design my next custom...a V . I'm not into company guitars unless I can get it for some kinda insane price (like my Carvin).
