Used the search bar and found nothing.

Anyway Slash has teamed up again with Fergie and now Cypress Hill for a cover of Paradise City.

G'N'R and Cypress Hill were my two favourite bands when I was a teenager and I guess I liked the first half of this, but Ferige’s singing got painful towards the end. Nobody can touch Axl Rose in this song.

Wow..... this is pretty god damn shameful. I'm a huge (old) GNR fan, but this........

I've stuck by Slash during recent criticism, but this is absurd. If his solo album sounds anything like this then I will personally call up Axl Rose and apologize for siding with the wrong guy.
He's a freak of nature, but we love him so.

Music isn't the Olympics. It's not about showing other people what you can do with a piece of wood in your hands that has strings on, it's about making sounds that are good.

I paused High on Fire for this? I mean, slash is great and so are cypress hill, but that was crap.

I thought it was pretty cool, then again that's my opinion.

I think when listening to older heroes of rock adapting to a modern scene you just have to have an open mind, some may say he's selling out what made him, him. Others like myself just might say that music is evolving, which doesn't necessarily mean the death of rock and roll.

Also, you can't really judge how good an album is from one song alone ... some songs may be abysmal and others exactly opposite. I for one am looking forward to the rest of the album.

Have you heard the other one, with the Jap singer?

I quite liked it.
The plan was to drink until the pain over.
But what's worse, the pain or the hangover?
Who am I? I'm a titan so be expectin' a clash.

Fergie is on my kill list like, 5 times now. She's beat out Akon, Lady Gaga, and the Pussycat Dolls.

Bravo, Fergie.

I gave up half way through...

I had high hopes for Slash's solo album but after that and Sahara I think I'll just give up.

This sounded a little like rap/nu metal tbh.

Does slash own the song?

I can already image Axl sitting in his chair made out of cash.

"Hmm, let´s see what Slash is doing."

I liked it a lot actually, but it would 've been better w/o Fergie I guess.

TBH, I thought it was pretty good. I stopped 3/4 of the way in as it got repetitive, but from what I heard, it wasn't bad at all. A nice reinterpretation.

Don't compare it to the original as that's stupid. It's nowhere near the original in anyway [apart from the guitar :p]. As a standalone song I really liked it.

Cypress Hill kick ass.

Edit: Fergie does a pretty good job too. I don't know any of her other stuff so maybe it's because I'm not biased.

Edit 2: It's not like Axl Rose doesn't sound like a chick anyway.

I'm enjoying it. I have a feeling those who don't like it are purists.

Hell, she is better than Axl I don't like her other songs but she fits the song... Cypress Hill was a little too much to it i think though i really like them.

pretty cool as a B-side, nothing to put on an album maybe.
I found it quite fun to listen to, and i thought Fegie did a pretty
good job too.
