I was wondering what some recommendations would be on upgrading speakers in my 4x12.

Right now I have four Celestion g12-75ts in it. I'm looking for a little bit of a clearer sound.

I play a lot of low tuned metal.

Suggestions?

I was thinking about hellatone 60s. Would that get me close to the sound I'm describing. I like how they are cheaper than V30s too.

Lemme know what you find out, I have a cab with 4 g12-75t's and i HAD a cab with all V30's and it sounded muddier to my ears.

I am also looking at that exact mix. It might just pull out those mids i am looking for.

Maybe try 2 75t's and 2 V30's in an X pattern that has always done it for me

i like this setup too.

^ I would get the G12k but it's only available in 8 ohms. All my speakers are 16.
