Hey, I'm a complete newbie here.
1. How do you post a new thread?
2. Is it hard to make the transition between a 4 string bass and a 5 string? I just started bass literally two weeks ago and for my next bass (most likely getting in summer of next year), I kinda want a 5 string. So is it hard to make the transition?

1. at each forum this a sweet button on top left of the page that says new thread. I got this started for you
2. it takes a few minutes, but it isn't hard if you don't use the top string as your guide.

I wouldn't call what we have here on the Bass Forum a mentality. It's more like the sharing part of an AA meeting.

That is simultaneously brilliant and obscene. I honestly don't know if I despise, or admire you.

TL;DR: Saw a girl at Wal-Mart, she started feeling me up, I jizzed in my pants.

Shit, I'm so pathetic.
