Hello UG!

I've just obtained 2 x Celestion V30s that I'm going to place into my Marshall 1960B to replace two of the G12T-75s that are in there at present.

Just wondering, what's the best layout to use to get the best mix of sound from both types of speakers?

I was thinking of an X pattern mainly since that seems to be the most common arrangement for mixing speakers, but just want to double check before I start the mammoth task of deconstructing my cab

Cheers!

x pattern ftw!

Not only does it mix the sound better, but it puts one of each speaker on each 'side' if you're running a stereo cabinet.
