I just got a Fender DRRI and not all my pedals are true bypass, so I was wondering what value for money line switchers exist so that I can go between pure guitar to amp and my pedal board.

100 bucks for just that is pretty shitty. Could I just build a little selector thing somehow?

yeah, you could easily build one for much less than $100. how many loops do you want? something like 1 loop will cost you $15-20, then after that you are only paying for jacks and switches since you already have the box.

however, not having all true bypass pedals isnt usually a huge issue. there are some pedals that have horrible bypass schemes that completly kill your tone, but most stuff today is ok if youve only got a couple. in fact, its advisable to have a buffer of some sort in the chain anyway if you are using long cable lengths. so before deciding that you need to buy/build a looper, ask yourself if your pedals are killing your tone when off and if you really need one.
