Personally, I think maybe they look something like this:

Clickable ^

Someday this thread will might need to move to B&A,
but for the moment this is just a 9 year old kid, not a commercial artist.

Her name is Anna Graceman. I stumbled upon one of her videos a couple of months ago and was amazed at the voice. Yeah, she enunciates like a kid. But there's a certain ease an "soul" in her delivery that you just can't teach.

I could be wrong, but I think we might be seeing the next LeAnn Rimes / Carrie Underwood / Vanessa Carleton / Michelle Branch

Even if you're not into pop music, I think you'll probably enjoy watching this kid as she grows up. Whether she becomes a star or just records a few songs, I'm quite certain we'll be hearing her music on the radio. And it's kinda fun to watch a story like this unfold.

If you comment on her video, please be respectful.
Even if you don't like it, don't be a dick.
This is still just a little kid.

EDIT:
If you liked that, you'll probably like these, too

Tallan Latz. Blues guitarist at 8 years old. (two years ago)

Michelle Branch is quite hot, sometimes.
Apart from what, who knows. If she continues her hunger for being a musician, possibly she could become a star. Sadly a lot of people lose the want between that age until they're in their mid teens.

Why are you searching for videos of 9yo girls.

She does have great potential doesn't she.

Songs aren't too bad for a 9 year old. But everyone knows nowadays you can only get musically famous on Youtube by singing Chocolate Rain.

I saw that kid on tv. Now THAT kid had a drive for music. He's already performing concerts and sh*t. Kudos to him.
I had a drive when I was 8 years old as well. Too bad it was a drive for being the best at Crash Bandicoot.

Musically: More talented back then
Lyrically: More talented back then, even if she probably has writers for her now
Vocalwise: Better now.

She was much more pleasant to watch back then wasn't she? If only she kept the same image (or at least stayed with the very homey look and not her... Fashion terrorism for a lack of a better description) and still kept the same music (meh, don't like a lot of her stuff but some are great, I'll admit), I would be more fond of her.

Did you come up with that?

I did, then remembered that I probably had it at the back of my mind from a Bruno skit. XD
After I posted it I had just remembered it. =P

To be honest I didn't think her song was very good. It was pretty generic especially the piano. She has a good voice for her age though

Probably something like this:

That was a dirty trick.
But I'll let you get away with it since you look like poverty-malnourished Adrien Brody near the end of The Pianist. And he looked pretty damn metal then.

one more for the list of songs using pachelbel's canon progressions

There are a lot of talented children out there. But the biggest reason you never hear about them years later is because they grew up and got ugly.
Check out my band Disturbed

The girl is good, but I have never found anything special about the blues player. This kid is better:

Dude, no way! She actually looks like a human being!

Ya she looks decent looking. It was a decent cover too. She put a lot of feeling along with the music.
