Hey ok well I'm wanting to get a Warmoth Jazzmaster HH pickup setup. I was wandering if I could wire the 2 lower knobs as Volume with push/pull for (splitting the pickups) (Our does the Push/pull have to be a tone knob?) and I wanted the top 2 sliders as tones with the switch being a 2 position to bypass both or nether of the tones (Or use it as a kill maybe?). and of coarse a 3 way switch below for pickup selection. So how much of this is actually possible? And if the tones have to be the knobs then I'm wanting a 2 position switch up top as a kill?

Well new to guitar wiring so idk how stuff cant and can be done.

If any one knows a good place on here or some other site that explains pots wire etc etc in detail I would like the chance to learn more.

Thanks for the help!

Well the wiring thread explains it very nicely. take a look in there.

but no, you don't have to have the push pull on the tone.
