I have an Ibanez DD-10 delay that has a output for DRY OUT. I have no idea what it does, how it works, why one would use it.

Anybody know?

a dry out bypasses the delay effect. ITs pretty much useless unless you run in stereo. You can have one amp delay free and have the others with the signal plus delay. you can get a very neat effect with multiple amps but like i said pointless if you are playing in mono
