...Before a white guitar turns creme colored?

I'm thinking about getting an Ibanez ICT700 and i don't think they'd look good creme. Does anyone have a rough estimate of how long it takes before it starts happening, and how to prevent it? Thanks.

The paint might well come off on one of those things before it would fade that much. The finishes on most guitars now a days are a little more...durable in some ways. But, keep it out of direct sunlight. Wipe it down. That sort of usual stuff.

With the new type of paint they use the color really doesn't turn that cream color like it used to. Correct me if I'm wrong though. Sunlight definitely does it but maybe not to the new paint they use

Yea light will do it but its unavoidable, it will happen sooner or later and when it does its even better
Mine took 20+ years to turn a nice cream color
