I like to play a lot of stuff that sounds like the Pixies and Dinosaur Jr., but I also want to be able to make some heavier sounds, something between Black Sabbath and Kyuss. I'm looking for a tube amp, for sure. Something loud enough to both practice and play shows with. I am on a budget, as I don't have a job (Although I might soon). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If your on a budget the Egnater Rebel, Orange Tiny Terror, or Orange Dual Terror are all great choices. All well under a thou, and are plenty loud and should fit your tonal needs.

for Dinosaur Jr youre definitely gonna want at least one fuzz pedal with whatever amp you get

Another thing is that I'm mostly playing basements right now. Also, I looked at the Tiny Terror. It's only 15 watts, does that mean that it's quiet? I'm not familiar with amp heads.
