I'm thinking the Peavey vypyr 75 but I never played on one. Looks like it has a lot of cool features, though. Is it a good buy or are there better amps out there for that price?

There's a couple of camps on this.

Some would say Peavey, while others would say Vox VT30

How loud do you need to be?
#3
What music do you play?

it's so cool to hate Gibson, even the federal Department of Justice hates them.

Louder than drums at band practices and small gigs.

I came up with this kick ass riff on my ukelele when I was 12. Find out two years later, it was smoke on the water. Got my hopes and dreams killed..

For that budget... look at either the Peavey Vypyr series... or the Roland Cube series.

You can get a pretty decent tube amp if you double your budget.

Assuming its American dollars and not Zimbabwe dollars.

Because I bend in such an unorthodox fashion; the notes kinda slide up and slide down...

You won't get a loud, high gain amp unless you increase your budget.

As for the swim team member that drowned, it just means the swim team just got a lot better. Same with him too, it's time to move on, the weakest link is gone...

Yeah, forget the Vox for DM.

Of course you can use pedals on the Vyper and then mike it at the gig.

Oh I play death metal.

Well you wont need an amp then. You just need to jump around on stage screming and occasionally stabing your audience to death ...

Ill give some constructive opioins too show im not a total asshole.

The peavey vyper will probally do what you want ...

However since you have an rr3 and like someone else has said have probally been playing for a while it might be a good time to buy a tube amp.
