im looking to buy a new amp, my budget is around 800 can add more.
i play mostly 80's thrash/metal
playing through a crybaby and a marshall distortion pedal and emg's
i wanted to know which type of amps work well with pedals?
i found a good solidstate amp, but i dunno how they handle pedals
also if u have any suggestions for amps

With EMGs you should really be looking at tube amps... In fact if that 800 is USD then you should DEFINITELY be looking at tube.

well its actually canadian, but thats not the issue.
i play in my little room, but i want big tone and im not very familiar with amps and watts and stuff
i figured solid state since i need just a clean channel for the pedals to go through. i guess i wont be needing distortion from the amp since the distortions coming from the pedal.
do u hve a specific amp that could work in my case?

Hmmm... is there a reason you're opting for a clean amp to use with pedals?

I'm thinking some Fender? It doesn't get any better for cleans than that... sadly enough... I'm not too familiar with Fender amps

if you play 80's thrash go for the source! jcm 800. you could definitely find a used one for that price if you look hard enough, ive seen em myself (im from london ontario). the jcm 800 was THE sound of thrash in the 80's
