Elysium

I’ve made plans for a trip;
I’ve consulted maps and I’ve chartered ships;
The horizons have received
The most meticulous form of scrutiny

And I’ve decided that I’d rather take my chances
With the thrice daily risk of tempestuous waters
Or the beast of beating arms and fearsome teeth
That swallowed six souls in a single sweep.

[Chorus]:
The concrete of truth starts to set
Urging me to take a step
Since when did aptitude come to suggest an obligation?
I’ll follow my heart not my head
Force mouth and money to wed
And if my boulder should tumble back down, imagine me happy.

I’ve made plans for a trip,
But my vessel’s anchored indefinitely
Departure pending still
The recruitment of my comrades in arms

I am seeking out the foolhardy and gifted
To travel far beyond the western margin
Across the world-encircling river-sea
To where the West Wind whispers through the fields

That was awesome. It has an "epic" feel to it in which I enjoy
"Or the beast of beating arms and fearsome teeth
That swallowed six souls in a single sweep."
That line is what really grabbed me and made the rest of it interesting.
their was allot of varies lines that I believed were very good.
It was an interesting poem/song all around.
good job
